THE RETURN OF ‘THE GUESTS’ – Insanity reigns: Embrace the madness! The Book Café, Fife Ave Mall, Harare Thursday 22 April 2010 6-7pm ![]() This Thursday 22 April from 6-7pm, The Book Café welcomes back the comedy duo THE GUESTS - Victor Mavedzenge and ‘Michael K’ Kudakwashe - after a long absence since their long 3-year run at the Fife Avenue venue, where comedy has been rolling through the years. Returning to their home stage at The Book Café this Thursday, the one-off show celebrates many years of laughter between the two friends and their audiences, while Mavedzenge (visual and performing artist, art teacher, poet, actor and comedian) pays a quick visit home from the UK where he his currently studying for a masters In Fine Arts Degree (see more at www.victormavedzenge.com), and Michael K takes time out of his acting local career to re-charge with humour. From 2006 to 2008 The Guests shared the gift of humour and helped Zimbabweans to laugh at themselves and their worries through some of the worst times. It was current, it was clever, and it was hilarious. Judging by an explosion of energy when they met recently, this show promises more of the same where, they say, “Insanity reigns: Embrace the madness!” By Penny Yon Pamberi Trust Tel 253239
