This exciting local documentary film, directed by Tom Deuschle III, was screened at ZIFF 2011 and we are proud to present it at our Wednesday Film Club as part of our ‘Let’s Support Local Film’ initiative. Fri 18, 5.30pm, ‘THE LIFE & WORK OF WALTER MUPARUTSA’ – a gathering of friends in the cultural sector to commemorate and celebrate the life of the late actor, writer, producer and promoter Walter Muparutsa - a true example of dedication, commitment, selflessness, courage and passion, who contributed strongly to the development of the Zimbabwe’s arts and culture sector and whose impact was felt in Zimbabwe and many parts of the world which he travelled.  Presentations by Daves Guzha, Andrew Whaley, Ray Mawerera and Elvas Mari (National Arts Council of Zimbabwe), with Peter Churu.  FREE, ALL WELCOME
