THU 01, 8pm, ALEXIO KAWARA & SHADES OF BLACK - Shooting to greater heights with his latest album ‘TOSE’ and guesting the delightful PRUDENCE KATOMENI-MBOFANA, on World Aids Day.  (Regret 5.30 discussion cancelled).

FRI 02, 8pm, NYAMASVISVA neMAWUNGIRA eNHARIRA – Mbira magic from Harare’s legendary ensemble

SAT 03, 2pm, ‘HOUSE OF HUNGER’ POETRY SLAM – Commemorating World Aids Day – ‘You Won’t Know if You Don’t Go!’ – come feel the energy! of popular and emerging poets of Zimbabwe.  All poets welcome. 

SAT 03, 5.30pm, TOROPITO – a barrel of laughs from this emerging stand-up comedian: Laugh it off!!

SAT 03, 8pm, HOKOYO naCHI !!  Zimbabwe’s feisty mbira star CHIWONISO MARAIRE on fire and sharing her stage with the up&coming M’AFRIQ

THU 01, 9pm, Afrojazz double bill: PABLO & FRIENDS & JIMMY & THE OTHER FOUR featuring CLARE NYAKUJARA – a fine evening of afro jazz from some of Harare’s much-loved artists – a whole lot of talent in this one-off show – don’t miss the chance to catch them all! 

FRI 02, 10pm, VICTOR KUNONGA - the new face of Africa  Classic originals from the first 3 albums, and new music in the making

SAT 03, 09pm, TRANSIT CREW, Roots Rock Reggae - Bigger Tings Ah Gwaan!

WED 07, 6pm, FREE FILM SCREENING: “AS WE FORGIVE” (Rwanda), (53 Minutes) - Joining the global 16 DAYS campaign Against Gender Violence - Could you forgive a person who murdered your family? A documentary about Rosaria and Chantal—two Rwandan women coming face-to-face with the men who slaughtered their families during the 1994 genocide.  Can it be done??  Directed by Laura Waters Hinson and narrated by Mia Farrow. – Courtesy of and thanks to ZIFFT and Search for Common Ground.
