Mannenberg: WED 01, 6pm, IIFF in the CLUB – LAKSHMI & ME – Indian filmmaker Nishtha Jain turns the camera on her maid Lakshmi, exploring the relationships between employer and servant. This delicate and brave documentary asks how two women negotiate the ingrained social and cultural attitudes that govern their lives. FREE – All welcome!
